MY SECOND BOOK: LOVER FORSAKEN

As you can see, I like to write.  I have a lot of writing that I have accumulated over the years, but they never saw the light of day.  A big THANK YOU to my friend Lynn, an aspiring photographer who introduced me to blogging.  Check her blog out at LYROSLENS.BLOGSPOT.COM.  Now back to the purpose of this blog.  I've always dreamed of becoming a published author, but nowadays it is so hard; you need an agent, publisher, money etc.  As I've told you before I am an avid reader, so it was about two years ago that I purchased a NOOK, an e-reader from Barnes & Noble.  I was in Heaven. I downloaded, and read and read.  My genre of choice is paranormal romance.  Finally I said to myself, "I can do this." and began to write again.  Within a few short months, BEAUTIFUL FORSAKEN was born.  I checked out a few self-publishing websites and decided to go with SMASHWORDS.COM.  This website is amazing and gave me the opportunity to publish my book.  So if you're an aspiring writer check it out.  The great thing about SMASHWORDS is that when you submit a manuscript, if you follow the guidelines of the site pertaining to format, your book is automatically entered into the premium catalogue; which means they distribute your e-book to Barnes & Noble, Apple, Amazon, and a number of other e-book sellers.  The formatting is a bit tedious, but well worth it.  The feeling when I submitted Beautiful Forsaken, and then saw it posted on the website was awesome.  I fulfilled my dream of becoming a published author.  Without any advertising, just word of mouth, my book was being purchased and with good reviews.  My friends loved the characters and the story, so I had to write a sequel.  I would love to give you a premise, but it would give away some of the conflicts of the first book.  All I can say is that my second book, LOVER FORSAKEN is extraordinary.  I loved writing it.  It just flew out of my head and onto the page.  So without further adieu, here it is...my second book: LOVER FORSAKEN, again it can be purchased at most fine e-book sites.
